BOOKING PROCEDURE
Please be advised that a bridal makeup trial is a separate service and payment, this is payable on the trial date at your appointment by cash or card.
If you wish to have a bridal makeup trial before deciding to book Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry for your wedding day, it is best to book it as soon as possible, to avoid disappointment, as having a bridal makeup trial date booked does not hold and/or secure your wedding date.
Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry will not hold any dates without a booking deposit being paid, once a booking deposit has been paid, that date is then secured to you and cannot be passed on to another bride.
At the time of booking your wedding date, please be aware that a non-refundable/ non-transferrable booking deposit is required within 7 days, an invoice with bank details will be issued to you at time of booking.
In the event of a date change, your non-refundable/ non-transferrable booking deposit will be taken as a cancellation fee and a new deposit will be required to book and secure your new date.
In the event of a cancellation for your wedding date your booking deposit will be taken as a cancellation fee.
In the event that a member of your bridal party is unable to attend/ get their makeup done on the day, and your final invoice has been paid in full, their service fee will be forfeited in full. However, this can be transferrable to another person who would like their makeup done on the day. (e.g. Wedding guest)
The total balance of your booking is to be paid in full one month prior to the booked date via bank transfer and will be non-refundable or transferable. When paying via bank transfer for your wedding total, a proof of transaction receipt is required.
By paying your booking deposit you are accepting these terms and conditions.
WEDDING DAY LOGISTICS
On the wedding day Makeup will be done within an allocated time block, working in with the hair stylist who is present, for a smooth and efficient morning.
The bride must communicate to her bridal party the importance of being on time and properly prepared, following the supplied bridal prep sheet.
Every person getting their makeup done should be present and ready for their turn, in the event they are not, Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry will move onto the next person, to keep to the finishing time schedule.
Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry requires a designated space to set up when on location, being either a dining table, kitchen bench or hip height equivalent, in a no walk-through traffic area. Good natural lighting is a plus, however Jenna Louise makeup artistry will come prepared with a director’s chair and lighting to use if necessary.
USE OF IMAGES/ PHOTO RELEASE
It is imperative that I continue to update my portfolio and demonstrate my work to future prospective brides.
By signing this contract/ Paying your booking deposit you give confirmation for Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry to contact your wedding photographer and/or videographer to access professional images/ videos and use them on social media/website for promotional purposes.
Please let Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry know in advance, if anyone, who will be present on the booked date does not wish to be photographed or is uncomfortable with Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry sharing images for marketing purposes.
Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry is happy to be photographed on your wedding day, however, please ensure I am tagged @jennalouise.mua or credited for the work performed.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
The booking fee and Final Payment will only be refunded in the unlikely event that Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry is no longer able to fulfil the booking.
This excludes inability to provide the service due to government bans/restrictions or due to 'acts of God' outside of Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry’s Control.
Every effort will be made to ensure that a replacement makeup artist will be present to perform the contracted services in the unlikely event of a personal emergency.
Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry does not offer refunds for any completed services; therefore, if you are in any way dissatisfied, it is the responsibility of you, the client, to notify Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry whilst on location.
To cancel a booking with Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry, written notice will need to be provided via email only.
If a booking is cancelled after the one month deadline of the final payment, any monies paid to Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry will not be refunded. including the booking fee and final payment.
PRIVACY
In accordance with Data Protection Laws, all Client data is kept securely and destroyed 6 months after the event. Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry will never pass the Client's data to a third party under any circumstances. Neither party shall use the other party’s confidential information for any purpose other than to perform its obligations under the booking.
DAMAGES
Damage to or theft of Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry’s property caused by any person (including children), requires on the spot compensation for the full value of the relevant item, plus shipping costs.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Due to the 2020 outbreak of COVID-19, Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry is taking extra precautions with the care of every guest to ensure enhanced sanitation/disinfection procedures, in accordance with local, national and international guidelines.
All tools, brushes, and other items will be fully sanitized before and after each use. A mask will be worn if the client requests, to ensure both parties are kept free from risk.
It is the Client's responsibility to inform Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry of any allergies or past reactions before makeup application.
It is the Client's responsibility to check with their Bridal party prior to the wedding date regarding any allergies and communicate this via email to Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry prior to the booked date.
Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry reserves the right to refuse an application if any of the parties have contagious conditions or have flu like symptoms.
In the interest of your personal health, safety, and well-being, and to that of Jenna Louise Makeup artistry and other clients, the following contraindications will prevent or restrict any client's makeup application – Eye infections; Conjunctivitis, viral infections; cold sores/facial herpes, open/weeping wounds or sores, fungal infections; ringworm, etc. warts, cystic acne, severe sunburn or first degree burns, burns from facial waxing, Eczema, Psoriasis, Nits/ Head-lice, Scabies, or Impetigo, prior reaction, bruising, open cuts.
Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry is not liable for any adverse reactions to products used and cannot be held liable for any losses that are incurred due to adverse reactions to products used. If the client or party requires a patch test for any products, this can be arranged and charged according to the agreed fee.
For their own safety, children in attendance at the booking are to be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry does not accept liability from any claims arising from any injury sustained by a child while in the service area.
Jenna Louise Makeup Artistry reserves the right, at my absolute discretion, to stop work if any clients display antisocial behaviour, that makes myself feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE - I encourage you to read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they are a legal document and by making a payment and signing this contract you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
